The PADI Rescue Diver course is often described as the most challenging — and most rewarding — course in recreational diving. It’s where your skills, awareness, and confidence come together to help you become a truly self-reliant diver and a better dive buddy.
You’ll learn how to recognize and respond to diver stress, prevent problems before they happen, and manage emergency situations — all while having a surprising amount of fun. Most divers say it’s their favorite course, and it often becomes the turning point in their scuba journey.
To enroll, you must be a PADI Adventure Diver (or equivalent) and have completed the Underwater Navigation dive. You’ll also need current EFR Primary & Secondary Care training (or equivalent first aid/CPR certification) completed within the last 24 months.
Our Rescue Diver courses are offered on flexible schedules and can be combined with your EFR course if needed. Whether you want to be a better dive buddy or are on the path to becoming a Divemaster, this course will transform how you think and act underwater.
Take the leap. Challenge yourself. Learn to lead. Join the ranks of divers who make a difference.
